BULGARIA. Second Empire. Anonymous imitative issues, circa 13th century. Trachy (Bronze, 26 mm, 2.65 g, 5 h), imitating a hyperpyron of Alexius II Angelus-Comnenus (1195-1203). Beardless, nimbate bust of Christ, wearing tunic and kolobion. Rev. Alexius III, bearded, standing facing on the left, and St. Constantine, bearded, standing facing on the right, each wears crown with pendilia, divitision and loros and holds labarum; both holding between them globus cruciger.
